When designing the ARCABUZ bottle, Ken Okuyama visited Tanegashima, where he experienced the island's food culture and nature, as well as the distillery and sugarcane fields. He then incorporated the atmosphere of Tanegashima, the birthplace of ARCABUZ, into the bottle design. The octagonal bottle features a glass logo instead of a paper label.

There is a reason why we asked Ken Okuyama Ken Okuyama to design the bottle. He is a world-renowned designer who has designed famous cars such as the Enzo Ferrari and Maserati Quattroporte, and in recent years has been actively working to highlight the quality of local products from all over Japan. That is why we wanted him to join the ARCABUZ project, which is being born from Tanegashima.

The design by Ken Okuyama Ken Okuyama was shaped by Yamamura Glass and Yamamura Bottle Works, long-established glass bottle manufacturers with a history dating back to 1914. Thanks to the hard work of both companies, a watch that accurately expresses the complex design has been completed.
